Watching it work
Kaeru shows every step as it happens, and stops to ask before it runs anything on your computer.
Step 3 of 5 · about two minutes
Reading the steps as they land, and the moment Kaeru stops to ask.
This is the chapter to slow down for. The frame below plays the request through on its own, over and over, so you can watch the whole shape of a turn without touching anything.
What each line means
It tells you what it is about to do
One plain sentence before any work starts, so you can stop it if that is not what you meant.
Each step appears as it finishes
Read the page, then Added the sign-in row, then Ran the checks — each naming the file it touched or the result it got. Nothing happens silently.
It stops before running anything
Watch the end of the loop: Run a command? with the exact command shown, and Run it or Not now. Kaeru never runs anything on your computer without being told, and the panel header says Waiting for you while it waits.
Answering is yours. In the frame, press either one — the loop stops and the turn finishes the way you chose.
Why the pause matters
This is the difference between Kaeru and a chat window. It can act, so it asks first, and it shows you exactly what it wants to run before you decide.
What's next
Once Kaeru finishes, it tells you what it did in plain words. Reviewing the change covers what to look at.
