Ask for a change
How to describe what you want so Kaeru gets it right the first time.
Every change in Kaeru starts the same way: you type (or say) what you want, in your own words.
Writing a good ask
Kaeru does best with three things in the sentence: what, where, and how it should look or behave.

You do not need to know file names. Kaeru finds them.
What happens after you press enter
- Kaeru reads the parts of your project that matter for your request.
- It makes the edits.
- If it needs to run something on your computer (install a package, start your site), it stops and asks you. Nothing runs without your say-so.
- It shows a summary of what changed, and the list of files.
Following up
You can keep talking in the same conversation: "make it a bit darker", "undo that last part", "now do the same for the footer". Kaeru remembers what you were working on.
When Kaeru asks you something
Sometimes Kaeru needs a decision only you can make: which of two colours, whether to replace an image, whether it may run a command. It will ask in plain words. Answer, and it carries on.
