Publishing it
Save the version, then back it up, so your work is never only on one computer.
Step 5 of 5 · about two minutes
Saving a version of your work, and sending it somewhere safe.
Happy with the change? Two things make it official, and the frame below is opened on the screen where both live.
Making it official
Check what is going in
Every changed file is listed, and each one can still be undone from here. What you leave ticked is what gets saved.
Read the note
Kaeru writes a short description of what changed — in the frame, add a sign-in row to the top of the page. Edit it if you would rather say it your own way. It is what you will see when you come back looking for this version later.
Save
This saves a version of your whole project, on your computer, with that note attached. From then on, that version exists and you can always return to it.
Back up
Backing up sends your saved versions to your own online copy, so your work is safe even if your computer is lost. The bar at the bottom of the app tells you when you have saves that are not backed up yet.
There is no such thing as saving too often
After a change you are happy with, before you try something bigger, at the end of a session — save. Every save is a point you can come back to.

The tour so far
You have now seen a full request from end to end: asking for a change, watching Kaeru make it, reviewing the result, and making it official. The rest is the same loop, again, on whatever you want to change next.
