Undo anything

You cannot lose work in Kaeru. Here is how to go back.

Kaeru is built so that trying something is never dangerous. Every change Kaeru makes is recorded, and every version you saved is kept.

Undo the last change

In the conversation, tell Kaeru:

Undo that.

It puts the files back exactly as they were before its last edit. You can keep saying it to step further back through that conversation.

Go back to a saved version

Open History in the left sidebar. Every version you saved with Save & Back up is listed with its note and time. Pick one, and Kaeru shows you what would change. Confirm, and your project is back to that moment.

Nothing is deleted when you go back. The newer versions stay in your history too, so going back is itself something you can undo.

What if Kaeru is in the middle of something?

Press Stop. Kaeru halts where it is. Anything it changed so far is shown, and you can undo it the same way.

Good to know

Undo covers everything Kaeru did to your files. It cannot un-send an email your site sent or un-publish something you published elsewhere.
