Asking for a change

Type or say what you want, the way you would say it to a person.

Step 2 of 5 · about two minutes

Writing a request Kaeru can act on, and sending it.

Every change in Kaeru starts the same way: you type, or say, what you want in the box at the bottom of the screen.

The frame below is opened on that moment, with a request already written in the box.

Kaeru's own interface, running in this frame — not a video, so you can use it. The request is a scripted example: nothing reaches an AI, and no file on your computer is touched. Press the arrow to send it, and the rest of this tour happens in front of you. Open it full size.

Writing the request

Say what you want changed, and where

"Make the sign-up button green and move it above the pricing" works. "Fix the button" does not, because there is nothing in it to act on.

You do not need to know any file names. Kaeru finds them.

Say how it should look or behave

The request in the frame — add a sign-in link above the hero — covers all three: what to add, where it goes, and what it is for.

Press enter

Kaeru reads the parts of your project that matter, works out what needs to change, and starts. If it ever needs to run something on your computer, it stops and asks you first.

Try it in the frame above: press the arrow, and watch the next chapter happen early.

Ask for a change goes deeper on writing a good request, including what happens when Kaeru needs a decision only you can make.
