Plans and usage
What each plan includes, how requests are counted, and where to see what you have left.
Kaeru counts two things: requests and voice minutes. That is all you ever need to watch.
What a request is
One request is one thing you ask Kaeru to do: one message, one change, one question. Bigger thinking costs more requests (see Thinking modes): a Lite ask is 1, Auto is 2, Performance is 5.
Small helpers, like the suggestions that appear as you type or the notes Kaeru writes when you save, are free. They are not counted.

Not signed in yet? You still get a small daily allowance to try Kaeru.
When things reset
- Daily numbers reset at your midnight, wherever you are.
- Monthly numbers reset at the start of your month.
Where to see what you have left
- In the app: Settings → Usage
- On the web: your dashboard
They show the same numbers, from the same place.
When you run out
Kaeru tells you, and tells you when it refills. You can wait, upgrade under Billing, or add your own AI key for unlimited use.
Got a code?
If someone gave you a Kaeru code, enter it on your dashboard's Usage page. It adds requests to your allowance straight away.
