Connect your computer
How the app links to your account, and how to see or remove computers you have connected.
When you sign in inside the app, it pairs your computer with your account. From then on, what you do in the app counts against your allowance, and your dashboard shows it.
Pairing
- In the app, click Sign in.
- A code appears, and your browser opens the dashboard.
- Confirm the code in the browser.
- The app finishes signing in by itself.
Each computer is paired once. You can pair as many as you like.
Seeing your computers
On your dashboard, open Computers. Every paired computer is listed with the last day it was used.
Removing one
Sold a laptop? Lent one out? Click Remove next to it. That computer is signed out immediately and can no longer use your allowance. Your work on it is untouched; only the link to your account is cut.
Signing out from the app
Settings → Account → Sign out does the same thing from the computer itself.
